Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ilha Grande was closed to tourists and visitors since March 17, 2020. A few days later, March 23, the local government also decreed the closure of commercial establishments for fifteen days.
The world is locking down and it is difficult to know when life will return to normal.

The crisis that took place in the world reached everyone without distinction. It is a health and socioeconomic catastrophe. Tourism was the first activity to be affected and small family-run companies like ours are at real risk of disappearing.

Atlantica has only four rooms and we have a small team. We are three family members in business management and six more employees. A dedicated team that has been offering a meaningful experience in the lives of many guests in almost nine years of work.

Some of these employees are the family's only source of income. We don't want to leave then unattended. Since the crisis began, we've all been quarantined here at the lodge.

Governments are helping banks, airlines and large hotels.
In Brazil the help offered to small companies has not yet left the table and is very timid in comparison to other countries, so we appeal to you in this moment of crisis. Please do not ask for a refund at this time. Reschedule your trip or accept to leave as credit the number of nights originally booked. Thus, joining efforts, we will be able to maintain the team and reopen Atlantica (hope soon).

We understand that it was not your own decision not to travel as well as it was not our decision not to host you. The reason for force majeure is being for both sides. We are in an exceptional period, unfortunately as in a war.

In case of cancellation, the bookings that were made with partial refund, we are making the refund according to the rate rules.

*For the reservations that have been made at a non-refundable rate they can be changed free of charge or become a hotel voucher for a lifetime.

* Only valid for bookings with check-in between March 16 and May 1, 2020.
