Before and during your transfer, taxi driver, taxi boat pilot and the lodge, stay connected by text messages to avoid any mismatches.
How it works?
Pick-up by taxi in any hotel or airport in Rio de Janeiro and drive to the public harbor of the city of Conceição de Jacareí, where a speedboat will be waiting to cross the guests to Atlantica Jungle Lodge.
At the hotel, just wait in the lobby area and the driver will look for you at the agreed time.
At the airports, the driver will wait for you with your name on a paper, outside the landing gate.
How long does it take?
Three hours in average. 2,5 hours in the taxi and 30 minutes in the boat.
In some bank holidays (New Year, Carnaval and Easter) periods, depending the time of the trip, taxi rides can take up to 5 hours due to traffic jams.
How much does it cost?
R$ 600 in total one way (R$ 300 for the taxi + R$ 300 for the water taxi) shared by three passengers maximum.
Price is valid for daylight time only. We do not recommend night boat crossings.
How do I pay?
Transfers payment is with cash only, at the end of each service, direct to the taxi driver and/or to the pilot of the taxi boat.
At what time is pick-up in Rio available?
The best time to choose pick-up in Rio, is between 9.30am and 3pm.
Pick-up before 9.30am may result in not having your room ready on the arrival at the lodge. Our check-in time is from 1pm to 8pm.
How can I book this transfer?
Just send pick-up address (or flight information) and time, on the email@example.com up to three days before your check-in.
We cannot guarantee services availability for orders placed with less than three days before check-in.
