Atlantica Jungle Lodge is located in one of the most preserved areas of Ilha Grande, with direct access to the Lopes Mendes region, allowing you to reach the beach in about a 15-minute walk, before and after the main flow of visitors.

The lodge is designed for those seeking direct contact with nature, in a quiet environment with a slower pace.

Because it is outside the island’s main areas, staying here works differently from an urban accommodation or a more conventional guesthouse.

Location

The lodge is located at Praia do Pouso, in one of the most preserved areas of Ilha Grande.

From here, it is possible to reach Lopes Mendes beach in about a 15-minute walk, allowing visits before most visitors arrive and after they leave.

The location provides access to several nearby beaches, including Praia de Santo Antônio, Palmas, Mangues, and Farol dos Castelhanos, allowing guests to explore different parts of the coastline at their own pace. The lodge also offers simple kayaks and stand-up paddle boards for guest use, further expanding the possibilities for leisure and exploration.

During the day, especially in busy periods such as holidays and summer, the beach may receive visitors and boats, with some level of activity. At night, the environment is quiet.

Access

Access to the lodge is mainly by boat.

We recommend planning your arrival between 12:00 and 15:00, aligned with check-in time (13:00).

Night arrivals and transportation are not recommended, as they are more limited, weather-dependent, and significantly more expensive.

Energy And Structure

The lodge is located in an area without access to the public electricity grid.

It operates with its own energy system.

Available 24h in the rooms:

- lighting

- internet

 - fan

- hot water

Air Conditioning

Air conditioning depends on the generator.

The generator operates daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, during which air conditioning is available.

During the warmer summer months (roughly late December through March), on particularly hot nights, operation may be extended until around 7:00 AM.

For most of the year, milder temperatures and natural ventilation are usually sufficient for most guests.

Food

During the day, there are simple beach restaurants nearby.

The lodge also offers meals for guests, available separately.

There are no restaurants or bars accessible at night in the area.

Getting Around

This is not a central area of the island, but it offers direct access to the Lopes Mendes region and some of the island’s most preserved beaches.

To reach Vila do Abraão or other locations, boat transportation is required.

These movements require planning, especially outside daytime hours.

After your reservation, we can guide you and share trusted contacts for private boat transfers and tours, helping you plan your stay more smoothly.
