Essential Guide for Your Stay at Atlantica
This guide was prepared to help you understand how Atlantica Jungle Lodge operates and to ensure a comfortable stay with clear expectations.
1. Electricity
Atlantica Jungle Lodge is located in a preserved area of Ilha Grande, without access to the public electricity grid.
For this reason, the lodge operates with its own system combining solar energy and a diesel generator.
Electricity available 24 hours a day in the rooms:
Lighting
Wi-Fi
Fan
Hot shower
Smart TV
One 220V power outlet (for charging mobile phones or laptops)
These amenities are continuously powered by solar energy.
Air conditioning usage
Air conditioning operates exclusively while the diesel generator is running:
Daily from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
During summer, on especially warm nights when the ambient temperature remains above 24 °C (75 °F), the generator may operate throughout the night, from 7:00 pm until 7:00 am the following day
This operating schedule is part of the experience of staying in a remote and preserved area of the island.
